SEO from Zero to Your First Ranked Page
Learn SEO by ranking a real page during the course — a site you choose. We do keyword research, on-page, technical, and link work together. No black-hat. No 'secret sauce.'
About this course
SEO has become noisy — tactic-of-the-week content everywhere, AI overviews changing CTR, and most courses still teach 2018 link-building. We strip it back to what works in 2026: real intent-based keyword research, on-page that respects what Google's quality raters actually look for, the technical fundamentals (Core Web Vitals, indexability, structured data), and a low-volume link strategy that's actually defensible. You'll pick a real page on a real site and rank it during the course.
What you'll cover
- 1
How search actually works in 2026
Crawl, index, rank, render. What changed with AI Overviews. Where the traffic still is.
- 2
Keyword research that doesn't waste your time
Free tools (Search Console, AnswerThePublic), intent-mapping, and the 3-criteria filter.
- 3
On-page SEO and the helpful-content era
Title tags, headings, internal links. Writing for the user, formatting for the snippet.
- 4
Technical SEO: Core Web Vitals and indexability
Fix the 5 issues that block 90% of small sites. Robots, sitemap, canonical tags.
- 5
Structured data and rich results
Article, Product, FAQ, Breadcrumb schemas. The CTR boost they actually deliver.
- 6
Links: the small, defensible strategy
Digital PR, partner posts, and the 5-link plan that beats 50 directory submissions.
- 7
Measuring, iterating, scaling
Search Console as your dashboard. Quarterly content audits. Building a 12-month plan.
