About this course

Most producers can get an idea down. Far fewer can finish it to release-grade. We close that gap. Across the course you'll start with one of your own ideas (or a starter we provide), build it into a full arrangement, record real vocals or VST instruments, mix it with proper levels and EQ, and master it for streaming services. We use Logic Pro because it's the most accessible pro DAW — included free with any Mac, no subscription required.

  I/O, buses, the screensets that save your sanity. Build a reusable starter template.

  Drums and the groove

  Drum Machine Designer, Drummer track, hand-played MIDI. Programming a groove that breathes.

  Harmony and arrangement

  Chord progressions that don't bore. Bass and pads. The arrangement arc — intro, hook, drop.

  Recording vocals at home

  Mic technique. Treating an untreated room. Comping the perfect take from many.

  Mixing — gain staging, EQ, compression

  The mix workflow that gets you 80% there. EQ subtractive first. Compression for character.

  Vocal production: tuning, reverb, delay

  Pitch correction without robot voice. Spaces that sit the vocal in the mix.

  Mastering and release

  Loudness for streaming (-14 LUFS). Limiting without crushing. Distribution to Spotify and Anghami.
