About this course

Motion design is exploding in MENA — every brand, every app, every conference wants animated content, and there aren't enough motion designers. We work through After Effects from a designer's perspective: the timeline, keyframes that don't look robotic, easing curves, expressions for repeating patterns, and a final 15-second piece you can put on Behance or LinkedIn.

What you'll cover

After Effects — interface and the timeline
Composition, layers, the timeline. The 7 panels that matter.

Keyframes and the secrets of good motion
Position, scale, rotation, opacity. Easing curves. The 12 principles of animation, simplified.

Logo animation — your first reveal
From a static logo to a 3-second reveal. Build, anticipation, settle.

UI animation for designers
Buttons, toggles, transitions. Lottie export for developer handoff.

Expressions — a little code, a lot of power
wiggle, loop, time. The 5 expressions that save hours.

Final piece — a 15-second explainer
Plan, animate, render, share. The brief is yours; the deadline is the session.

Prerequisites

Comfortable with another design tool (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator). A reasonably modern laptop or desktop.
