IELTS Preparation — Band 6 in 8 Weeks

Score Band 6 (or higher) on IELTS Academic with a structured 8-week plan. Two live sessions per week, weekly graded essays and speaking sims, plus full mock tests.

About this course

IELTS is the gateway to scholarships, immigration, and most overseas employer applications from MENA — UK, Australia, Canada, and increasingly Gulf employers all require it. Band 6 is the practical floor for most uses; Band 7+ opens premium pathways. We follow a tight 8-week plan: skill-by-skill drills, weekly written and spoken assessment, vocabulary that actually transfers (not memorized lists), and three full mock tests under exam conditions. You'll know your real band before you book the test.

What you'll cover

  • 1

Diagnostic mock and your custom 8-week plan

Sit a partial mock. Identify your weakest skill. Get a personalized weekly plan.

  • 2

Listening — strategies that work in 8 weeks

Section-by-section technique. Common traps. Note-taking that doesn't lose the next answer.

  • 3

Reading — pace, skim, scan, answer

True/False/Not Given mastery. Matching headings shortcut. Time per question target.

  • 4

Writing Task 1: charts, graphs, processes

Templates for each chart type. Cohesion. Vocabulary that lifts your score.

  • 5

Writing Task 2: the Band 6+ essay

Structure. Argument. The 7-sentence body paragraph that scores reliably.

  • 6

    Speaking — fluency, vocabulary, confidence

All 3 parts practiced live. Recording yourself. The vocabulary anchors that work.

  • 7

    Vocabulary that transfers (not memorization)

Word families. Collocations. The Academic Word List that actually shows up.

  • 8

Three full mocks and the booking strategy

Sit 3 timed full mocks across weeks 6-8. Test centers in MENA. Booking, fees, ID requirements.
